Densetsu Kyojin Ideon, also known as Space Runaway Ideon, is a Japanese anime series that aired from 1980 to 1981. It was created by Yoshiyuki Tomino, who also directed Mobile Suit Gundam, and produced by Sunrise.
The “Ideon DX” is a deluxe version of the Ideon toy and is made of die-cast metal (合金 – gokin/alloy) and released by Tomy during the anime’s original broadcast period.
