Walt Disney’s “Lady and the Tramp” is a beloved animated classic that premiered in Japan in 1956. It was based on the novel “Happy Dan, the Whistling Dog” by Ward Greene. The Japanese title “わんわん物語” (Wan Wan Monogatari) plus a short documentary “Switzerland” was shown with the movie.
